Passion projects are important, especially when everything else is uncertain. I love cigars, so during the COVID pandemic, when everyone in the film industry was slowing down, We got together with dear friends and frequent collaborators to try to capture what we enjoy about smoking cigars. This project was done simply for the love of film and the challenge of portraying a mood in a simple scene. We hope you enjoy our small tribute to good cigars and the importance of slowing down.

VOICE OVER:
There’s a lot of ways to ground yourself. To connect with your breath and the motions of your hands. To slow the hell down, once in a while. There’s contemplation in a good cigar, if you do it right. If you focus...and it’s hard not to focus. Somebody rolled this masterpiece, and some plot of earth grew it. And here you are, smoking it. Think on that for a couple of puffs.
Smoke slow. Be present.
